About
A different kind of financial advisor.
I came to financial planning from a career built on listening, communication, and helping people navigate complicated situations.
My background
For nearly 20 years, I worked as a speech-language pathologist — a career centered on working closely with individuals and families through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. That work required deep listening, clear communication, and the ability to help people move from uncertainty toward a clear path forward.
Over time, I became increasingly drawn to financial planning — particularly the intersection of money, relationships, and major life transitions. I saw how often financial decisions were made under pressure, without a clear picture of the full situation, and how much it mattered to have someone in your corner who could help you think through it clearly.
I made the decision to pursue financial planning as a second career because I believe the skills that made me effective as a clinician — listening carefully, explaining complex things clearly, and helping people move from confusion to confidence — are exactly the skills that matter most in this work.
Credentials
Credentials and affiliation
I have passed the Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination and am an Investment Adviser Representative affiliated with Legacy Wealth Management, a Registered Investment Adviser.
Legacy Wealth Management provides the regulatory infrastructure and compliance oversight that allows me to offer investment advisory services to my clients.
My philosophy
"Financial planning isn't simply about accumulating money. It's about understanding what you want your life to look like — and creating a financial strategy capable of supporting that life."
I work with women who are navigating a major financial transition — often for the first time managing their financial lives independently. My goal is to make that process feel less overwhelming and more empowering.
I believe in being direct, clear, and honest. I'll tell you what I see, explain your options, and help you make decisions that reflect your values and your goals — not a generic financial template.
I'd love to connect.
If you're navigating a financial transition and wondering where to start, let's have a conversation. There's no obligation — just an opportunity to talk through what you're facing.
